    Welcome to the Corsair Restaurant's home page! We are centrally located in beautiful downtown Anchorage, Alaska on the corner of 5th Avenue and K Street in the Voyager Hotel Building directly across the street from the main entrance to the Hotel Captain Cook.

    The Corsair was founded in 1979 and is a Fine Dining restaurant specializing in Continental and American cuisine with an emphasis on traditional French haute cuisine embracing old world techniques  with new world flair. Our restaurant greets you with tuxedo clad professional service and presentation. We feature the finest food and wine available from our beautiful restaurant. The Wine Spectator Awarded Cellarage of over 800 selections serviced from a 10,000 bottle cellar will satiate the most discriminating palate. We offer expert assistance with your wine selection to accompany your dining experience and are world renowned for our hospitality. The Corsair also features cocktails with an extensive selection of fine beverages including cordials, single malt scotches, cognacs and ports by the glass.

    We offer tableside cart service with many items prepared tableside such as Caesar Salad, Flaming Spinach Salad, Bananas Foster, Cafe Diable and others to name a few selections. Enjoy a dessert from our pastry cart if you so desire!

    The dining experience at the Corsair is the most romantic Anchorage has to offer. The dining room is appointed in high back fan booths lending itself to  private, intimate dining for your special evening, birthday, anniversary or other occasion.

   We are open at 5:00pm Monday through Saturday for dinner and until 10:00pm Monday through Thursday and until 11:00pm on Friday and Saturday. We are closed on Sunday and major holidays. We do feature an upscale luncheon on the last Friday of the month from 11:30am to 1:30pm except in November and December when the date moves up one week respectively.    Reservations are suggested to allow us to maximize your dining experience but we always welcome walkin diners.
